Vanderbilt Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon is harvested from prized vineyards located in the northeast section of California's Sonoma County, Alexander Valley features warm days, cool nights, and alluvial soil-a wonderful combination for growing outstanding grapes. We select the finest fruit from partner vineyards in this region to handcraft our distinguished Vanderbilt Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon. Barrel aged for about 15 months, it matures into a dark black cherry wine featuring an exuberant nose that includes aromas of plum, violets, and hints of spice. This is a full-bodied wine with assertive tannins and dark fruit flavors of blackberry, black currant, and dried fruit plus earthy notes of leather.
