- 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
- 1/3 cup granulated sugar
- 2 tablespoons lime juice
- 2 cans chipotle peppers - chopped
- 2 tart apples peeled and diced
- Pour the vinegar, sugar, lime juice and chipotle peppers into a saucepan. Bring to a boil, then add the diced apples and lower the heat to a simmer. Stir and simmer until the apples are soft and the liquid has cooked away. Cool to room temperature before serving.
